One of the possible obstacles that your users may encounter when taking the courses in your catalog is not knowing where to start. They can find many interesting courses, but without knowing which is the best course for their needs, until they postpone the decision or even not enroll in any course.

There are tools that can help your users cross this barrier, and they are diagnostics. We have already seen how testing is a way to offer free content and attract new users, but it also helps us to retain them.

The diagnosis, through scoring questions, make it possible to profile a user and measure their level of knowledge in different areas. Thanks to these results, it will be possible to automatically recommend courses on those topics that should be the highest priority for the user.

Foxize Cloud has its own recommendation algorithm. These recommendations will be reflected in two key points of your training platform:

    • On the home page with Login, in the recommendations section. In addition to taking into account the results of the diagnosis, it also suggests courses of interest.
    • In individual reports after making a diagnosis. They can see how they are doing relative to the market and if you set it up, they can even get a recommendation of the 3 most urgent courses they should do.

In this report, you will be able to see your overall mark and the mark in each of the parts of the test. This score will be compared with the rest of the answers of all the users who have taken the test. In this way, it can be a good reference to see in which topics they are weak and also in which topics they are below the average number of users.

So that the recommendations are faithful to the needs of your users, we advise you to ask questions aligned to the topics you want to evaluate and that you try to match the parts of your test with the topics of the courses. Thus, the recommended courses will be aligned with the test results, and it will be easier for your users to know which courses to start with.

As you can see, diagnostic tests offer many advantages, not only for users, but also for your business. If you want to put these strategies into practice, we offer you a free month of Foxize Cloud, without obligation, and try all the tools it offers to create a complete training platform.
